CERTIFICATION AND MARKS

The productions of biodegradabe / compostable goods is certified by TUV AUSTRIA the european board that with OK COMPOST, OK COMPOST HOME e SEEDLING marks guarantees the correspondence of the product with the EN 13432 norm. With the OK Compost marks and the Seedling logo, Ibi Plast can offer compostable products recognised Europe-wide.

SEEDLING

TUV AUSTRA is a certification body authorized by European Bioplastics to award the Seedling logo to products which comply with standard EN 13432.

OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL

Products with the OK Compost mark are guaranteed to be biodegradable in an industrial composting system. This applies to all components, inks and additives. The only reference for the certification programme is the EN 13432:2000 standard: Ibi Plast products with the OK Compost logo comply with EN13432 and the requirements of Directive 94/62/EC on Packaging and Packaging Waste.

OK COMPOST HOME

Because of the smaller volume of waste to be treated, the temperature in a garden compost heap is much lower and less consistent than in an industrial composting environment. For this reason, the process is slower and more difficult. OK Compost HOME ensures complete biodegradability under domestic composting conditions.
