Ibi Plast has nurtured sustainability since the 1980s, when the decision was made to invest in the biodegradable and compostable sector, working on processes and products suited to market needs.

In particular, the commitment of Ibi Plast, sensitized by the limited availability of resources, has been directed in recent years to the use of bio-based or highly renewable materials consisting of substances derived from renewable sources instead of fossil sources such as oil.

Ibi plast combines this feature with the essential criteria of compostability with organic waste as the end of life of the product.
